Dear colleagues,
We cordially invite you to participate in the Tbilisi Analysis & PDE Workshop, held from August 30 to September 2, 2023, at the Institute of Mathematics of the University of Georgia in Tbilisi. Please note that the day of arrival is August 29, and the day of departure is September 3.
The programme of the workshop will feature 1-hour invited lectures during the morning sessions and 30-minute contributed lectures in the afternoon parallel sessions.
The workshop programme includes one day of excursion and three working days, one of which will take place outside of Tbilisi at the Sevsamora Hotel, situated 35 km from the city centre in Saguramo. A wine tasting will follow this session.
We welcome thematic sessions and ask the organisers to submit applications with a list of at least 5 tentative speakers by July 15. Registration for the conference is mandatory, and those wishing to present contributed talks should submit an abstract, prepared in accordance with the template appended to this announcement, to the organisers by July 15.
A conference website https://tapde-workshop.ug.edu.ge/ will be launched in the near future, enabling you to register, upload abstracts, and obtain updated information about the Workshop. As an alternative, you can register and submit your abstract by sending a mail to tapde-workshop@ug.edu.ge.
Participants who also wish to attend the XIII Annual International Conference of the Georgian Mathematical Union, commencing on September 4, 2023, have several convenient options to travel to Batumi (approximately 400 kilometres away) by express or night train, as well as a comfortable coach or a mini-bus.
The conference fee is 100 USD and includes coffee breaks, a conference dinner, an excursion and the session at Sevsamora Hotel.
